This privacy notice sets out how Jones Motors (Login) Ltd. uses and protects any information you give to us. Jones Motors (Login) Ltd. is committed to protecting your privacy and will only use any information given to us in accordance with this privacy notice.

What is personal data:

·        We will use the information you have provided for administrative and customer care purposes so that we may carry out our obligations to you in respect of your booking.

·        We will use the information to receive and process any necessary payments and provide confirmations/invoices relating to that payment.

·        To inform you of any changes to the service being provided by us.

·        To provide you with details of new tours, destinations, offers and any other service that we feel may be of interest to you. We will only contact you if you have given consent for us to do so.

Passing onto your information to 3rd parties:

·        We will only pass on the relevant information supplied to us to our suppliers (hotels, tour operators, ferries)

where necessary for the purpose of booking your holiday.

·        We will only provide your information to public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them or as required by law.

·        We will not pass your details onto any other 3rd party for any other reason than those stated above.

Consent

The legal basis for processing your data is based upon your specific consent, performance of a contract and our legitimate interest. We may use your name and email or address details you have given us to tell you about our own products and services which we think may be of interest to you. When making a booking over the telephone you will be asked whether you wish to consent to receiving any marketing material and in which format, post or email, this consent will be logged in your booking and you may remove this consent at any time. Emails will contain a statement asking you to supply consent if you wish to receive further communication and any further communication will contain the option of unsubscribing.

Unless otherwise required by law, your data will be stored for a period of 3 years after our last contact with you, after which point your data will be deleted.

1. Why do we collect and keep your personal information?

We collect and use your personal information so that we can identify who is eligible for transport services and to ensure that appropriate provision is provided.

The Processing of your data is:

·         Because we have a legal obligation to do so

·         Because it is necessary for the performance of this public task to do so

 

2. How Information about you is used.

The information that you provide will be processed according to the General Data Protection Regulations 2016, Transport Act 2000 and Learner the Travel Wales Measure 2008.

We have a duty to protect the public funds we administer and may use the information provided by you on this form to ensure that you are eligible for transport and to ensure that suitable transport is provided. We will cross check the information with other sections of Pembrokeshire County Council.

We will also make any disclosures required by law and we may also share this information with other bodies responsible for detecting/preventing fraud or auditing/administering public funds to ensure money is targeted and spent in the most appropriate and cost-effective way. In order to achieve this, details of who requires transport and the pick-up/drop-off locations will need to be shared with the organisations providing the transport in order for them to know what transport is required. This may include bus companies, taxis companies, community transport organisations, Council drivers and volunteer drivers. Information may also be shared with other internal departments within Pembrokeshire County Council and with The Auditor General for Wales.

We will not make any disclosures to third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data will be secure and confidential at all times and we will only collect the personal information that is required to assess your entitlement to access passenger transport services provided by Pembrokeshire County Council.

3. How long do we keep hold of your information?

We will retain the information provided to us for as long as you continue to require use of the Council’s passenger transport services and your information will be securely disposed of once it is no longer required.

4. Access to my personal information?
