Travel to the South Coast with comfort stops en-route arriving late afternoon.

Tuesday to Thursday

Visit the Weald & Downland Museum, location of 'The Repair Shop'. A hidden gem conserving the past for the future, you will see what life was like for people living in years gone by. We then take a short hop over the border into Surrey to the historic town of Guildford with its quaint cobbled high street, plentiful shops and attractions.

Wednesday is Market Day in the Roman cathedral city of Chichester, with its mostly pedestrianised centre and mant Grade 2 listed buildings. See the cathedral and the Novium Museum, or enjoy a coffee in of the many tea-shops. Continue to Fishbourne Roman Palace and the recreated gardens, the earliest gardens found anywhere in the country.Imagine the luxury that would have once surrounded the lavis Roman residence!

Arundel Castle, situated in magnificent grounds overlooking the river Arun. Seat of the Duke of Norfolk, there are nearly 1,000years of history to discover.Stroll around the beautiful award winning Tropical & English Gardens, the quircky Stumpery and Kitchrn Garden and immerse yourself in the warm Glasshouses and frgrances of the Rose Garden. The charming market town of Arundel is a short walk from the castle where there is time to take in the local sights, shop at independant boutiques, antique markets, art galleries, and pretty eateries overlooking the river.
