A leisurely day in Plymouth, Britain's Ocean City. Great shpopping and hundreds of years of history including Sir Francis Drake and the Spanish Arnada and the Mayflower sailing in 1620. Enjoy time at Plymouth Hoe, the barbican and Sutton Harbour, with its quaint streets and plethora of independant retailers.
With embarkation from the Barbican Landing Stage, a boat trip with commentary detailing the history and heritage of the stunning Plymouth coastline is included.

Travel to The Lost Gardens of Heligan, discovered in 1991 under a blanket of brambles after 70 years of neglect. Many of the original plants have been rescued. The garden visit is followed by a viti to Mevagissey, one of Cornwall's most picturesque fishing villages.
