Scotland's capital city is well deserving of its status as a world famous tourist destination with attractions to entice visitors all year round. But for 3 weeks in August, Edinburgh plays host to the unforgettable annual spectacle that is The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, performed against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle.

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo

In recent years, the organisers and promoters of the Tattoo have changed their policy in relation to the allocation and purchase of group tickets for the event.

Bookings and deposits must be received by 1st December 2026 for this tour to operate.

If this number is not reached, all monies paid can be re-allocated to other bookings with us or refunded on request.

If sufficient booking are received, additional bookings on the tour will be subject to Tattoo ticket availability at time of enquiry.

Following the early start yesterday, a leisurely departure to Edinburgh with a guided city coach tour before an afternoon at leisure to enjoy the sights and sounds of the city and Edinburgh Festival.
Have an early dinner at your leisure in one of the many cafes's and restaurants that are available in such a wonderful capitol city, before you make your way to the castle for the highlight of this short break, The Edinburgh MilitaryTattoo.

We are joined by a local step on guide for an excursion out and around the Loch Lomond and Trossachs region.
