TREACEY'S HOTEL, WATERFORD
The 3 star Treacy's Hotel, Waterford is a very hospitable, traditional family run hotel, located in the town centre. Being located in the centre of the town, the hotel's bar and street is very busy and during the weekends, rooms located to the front of the hotel can sometimes be affected by noise. We would therefore recommend that the hotel be avoided on Friday and Saturday nights.
MOBILITY: A lift serves all floors.
BLOOMFIELD HOUSE, MULLINGAR
Situated in Ireland's beautiful lakelands, the 4 star Bloomfield House Hotel & Leisure Club has retained the graciousness and comfort of the convent, boarding school and private house it once was. It's a great base for overnights to the West Coast or those wishing to stay longer to explore Dublin and the 'Hidden Heartlands' Lakeland area. All the public areas are on the level. The welcoming foyer has a wealth of comfortable seating to sit and relax. Offering 111 ensuite comfortable bedrooms situated on the first and second floor, all accessible by lift with the majority having shower over bath, many with lake views. The restaurant and conservatory again have views over the lake and groups are seated on tables of 6 and 8 choosing from a three course, three choice dinner menu chosen at the table and full Irish breakfast taken at leisure. The inviting Lounge bar has been refurbished in early 2018. There is a pleasant outside seating terrace for those summer evenings with walks through the grounds. Each bedroom is fitted with direct dial telephone, TV, trouser press, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryer. There are five walk in showers (request). There is a leisure club with 20m pool, steam room, sauna and spa bath included in the rate for guests to take advantage of.
