Llandudno is one of the UK’s best-loved seaside towns, known for its elegant Victorian promenade, pastel-coloured seafront hotels and timeless atmosphere. With two beautiful beaches framed by the Great Orme and Little Orme, it’s the perfect blend of classic charm and modern attractions.

Walk along the wide promenade, explore Wales’s longest pier, or visit the sandy West Shore, where Alice Liddell the inspiration for Alice in Wonderland once holidayed. For spectacular views, take the Great Orme Tramway or cable car to the summit, or discover the prehistoric Great Orme Copper Mines.

In town, you’ll find a range of attractions including Llandudno Museum and Gallery, the Home Front Experience, the Chocolate Experience, and MOSTYN, one of Wales’s leading contemporary art galleries. Adventure-seekers can enjoy the dry ski slope, golf, or indoor climbing at the Boathouse Climbing Centre. In the evenings, Venue Cymru hosts theatre, concerts and live entertainment.

There is also the option of a short excursion on Saturday morning through to mid afternoon. Destntion to be confirmed.

A final walk along the promenade before we start our journey south through our beautiful country, returning via a different route through to Carmathen and on to west Wales.

The Tynedale Hotel is centrally located on Llandudno’s iconic promenade, only 20 metres from the beach and just a pleasant level stroll to the beautiful, well-preserved pier, theatre, and shops.
