Monday
An early departure travelling to the east of England with a welcome tea or coffee on arrival at the hotel.
DTuesday to Thursday
Three days out and about around the local area.
Visit the breath-taking Beth Chatto Gardens created by ten times Chelsea Gold Medal winner, Beth Chatto, followed by an afternoon at leisure Colchester.
Travel to the delightful medieval market town of Saffron Walden. There has been a market here since 1141. In the afternoon we make our way to Green Island Gardens which have been laid out as a series of structured gardens including Terrace, Japanese gardens, huge islands beds and water gardens. Here we will also enjoy a cream tea as part of the visit.
This morning, we enjoy a half day ‘step-on’ guided tour of Constable Country, which travel through
Dedham Vale, where John Constable lived and created most of his paintings. IN the afternoon we enjoy a short journey on the Colne Valley Railway along its mile long track alongside relocated station buildings, signal boxes and bridges.
Friday
Return to West Wales arriving home early to mid-evening.
