York & Scarborough Fair

We travel noth to Yorkshire, arriving at the hotel late afternoon

Wednesday & Thursday

To Scampston Hall and Walled Garden this morning for an included tour of the Hall (STA). Home to the Legard family, this is one of the finest regency country houses in North Yorkshire, and contains many fine works of art, furniture and porcelain. The award-winning Walled Garden is a stunningly beautiful, contemporary garden, quite unlike any other. Designed by the much admired Dutch landscape designer Piet Oudolf, it is sure to be enjoyed by all. A fun visit this afternoon to the Scarborough Fair Collection with its working collection of vintage cars, steam engines and fairground rides.

Visit York. Firstly hop in the city sightseeing bus for a 1 hour tour around the city with commentary. Alternativley hop on an off all day at the various stopping locaions. Incluced also is a 45 minute cruise on The River Ouse. Therafter spend the remainder of the day in York. York Minster, The Shambles, JORVIK Viking Centre & The National Railway Museum being just a few of the attractions to enjoy.

We return to west Wales visiting Webbs of Wychbold. Much more than just a Garden Centre. Homeware, Gifts, Restaurant and more.
